Why Hunt Exotic Game in Texas?
Texas offers one of North America’s broadest selections of ranch-managed exotic game. Many species provide year-round opportunities, allowing hunters to plan around travel, weather and ranch availability without the complexity of international travel.
Where We Hunt
Participating ranches include limestone hills and oak country in the Texas Hill Country, open Central Texas ranchland and South Texas thornscrub. The right region depends on the species, current inventory, terrain, lodging needs and trophy goals.
How the Hunt Works
Depending on the property and species, guides may use blinds, spot-and-stalk glassing, safari-style ranch travel or a combination. Terrain, weather, animal movement, hunter mobility and equipment are considered before choosing a plan.
Patience and teamwork matter. Follow your guide’s plan rather than starting a stalk or walking around on your own. If assigned a blind, stand or glassing position, give it time and check with your guide or ranch contact before moving. Unplanned movement can disturb animals and affect other hunters.
Tell us before booking if you prefer an active hunt, need regular breaks or have mobility concerns. We will explain the hunting method, level of guidance and ranch rules for your specific package.
